Abaco Mobile Provides Mobile Web Dynpro Solution For SAPConsole Users

Abaco Mobile, a provider of SAP NetWeaver(R) Mobile Solutions, announced at SAPPHIRE 07' - ASUG 2007 Annual Conference, the release of Mobile xDynpro(TM); a tool that will enable customers using SAPConsole(R) for RF data collection to migrate to Mobile Web Dynpro, a SAP NetWeaver(R) component, for their current and future mobile data collection requirements.

For SAP customers using SAPConsole, a telnet character-based RF data collection product, Mobile xDynpro allows the continued use of standard SAP- delivered RF transactions and custom developed RF transactions within the Mobile Web Dynpro environment. The graphical user interface represents the next generation of efficiency and productivity in mobile data collection.

Mobile xDynpro enables SAP customers using SAPConsole or WebSAPConsole(R) to migrate to Mobile Web Dynpro without incurring the expense of recreating the standard or custom developed transactions. Mobile xDynpro is a run-time tool that enables SAP mobile data collection transactions to be run within a browser and leverages the additional features, functions and user interface controls available within the Windows(R) browser-based environment.

The use of Mobile Web Dynpro and Abaco's Mobile xDynpro enables SAP customers to take advantage of new mobile functionality developed by SAP and continued used of existing mobile collection transactions, all through a single Mobile Web Dynpro user interface.

The introduction of Mobile xDynpro will allow companies to accelerate innovation in the warehouse or store room, the retail store, the show room, on the shop floor, in the field or anywhere mobile data collection is being used.
