Brainware's IDC-distiller routinely speeds invoice processing by 60% to 80%; 'Intelligent capture' of invoice data will speed SAP solution-based processing of accounts payable
Brainware(R), Inc., whose tools enable high-speed capture, search, and classification of vital, unstructured corporate data, today announced its IDC-distiller(TM) version 3.1 has received certification from SAP AG for its integration with SAP(R) R/3(R) Enterprise Release 4.7, providing auto-posting of invoices to the SAP ERP solution. The IDC-distiller core technology drives an accounts payable version, A/P-distiller(TM), which generates output for SAP R/3-based processing.
Based on "intelligent" technologies that quickly capture and categorize critical accounts payable data however it's formatted or stored, Brainware's IDC-distiller routinely speeds invoice processing by 60 percent to 80 percent soon after installation. By automatically validating and posting high percentages of invoices from multiple, various suppliers directly to SAP solution-based processing systems, IDC-distiller will free users to focus more on servicing customers, and less on manual document processing.
"We are delighted that our IDC-distiller solution has achieved SAP integration certification," says Carl Mergele, Brainware CEO. "Fast and accurate invoice processing is essential to effective supplier relationship management. Brainware technologies will significantly enhance the processing power of SAP solutions and generate a very quick return-on-investment for users of IDC-distiller that are also using SAP solutions."
IDC-distiller is a breakthrough solution to intelligent data capture (IDC) that reduces processing costs and increases throughput rates by significant margins. Through content-based, "auto learning" techniques, IDC-distiller leapfrogs traditional forms processing to automatically capture and categorize structured and unstructured data, regardless of form or layout. Captured data can be seamlessly integrated with SAP solutions and other business applications and document management systems (DMS), significantly improving business performance and topline revenue growth.
