Gulf Oil goes live with SAP

Gulf Oil Corporation Limited, a Hinduja Group company today announced that it has successfully implemented SAP ERP, in its quest to restructure its business processes and improve its operational efficiencies.
Hyderabad-based Gulf Oil has deployed SAP ERP to automate, streamline and increase operational efficiency in its various lines of businesses namely: industrial explosives, specialty chemicals & APIs / pharmaceuticals, infrastructure and mining services. Gulf Oil has achieved this ‘Go Live’, in a span of four months.
Subhas Pramanik, managing director, Gulf Oil, said, “Since we have four divisions operating in diverse industrial segments and our growth for the past three years is at an average CAGR of 20 per cent, we needed to significantly trim down the complexity of processes, increase the efficiency of MIS and reduce the operational costs.”
