IDS showcase unmatched offerings for SAP
by IDS Scheer
IDS Scheer, the leading provider of solutions for business process excellence, today announced that the company will be participating at the upcoming SAPPHIRE ’07 (Atlanta, April 22-25, 2007) by showcasing unmatched offerings for SAP. These offerings are unparalleled in the market, based on IDS Scheer’s 15-plus year partnership with SAP, which has resulted in the two companies jointly developing strategic offerings for SAP NetWeaver and SAP Enterprise SOA (ESOA).
ARIS “Open BPM” Empowers SAP ESOA
Open BPM represents an approach to open industry and technology standards, the adoption of open BPM components like the ARIS Platform, as well as an open network of partners to deliver best-in-class solutions for process excellence and SOA. “SAPPHIRE is the logical extension of our ‘ARIS Open BPM empowers SOA’ strategy that we unveiled earlier this year. At SAPPHIRE, we will demonstrate tangible solutions with true business value that SAP customers can realize with our ARIS-based offerings,” said Dr. Mathias Kirchmer, Chief Innovation & Marketing Officer at IDS Scheer. “Our consulting services also play a key role in making Open BPM happen – especially in an SAP environment,” added Kirchmer.
Presentation and demonstration highlights include:
- ARIS for SAP NetWeaver: ARIS is the only BPM tool embedded in SAP NetWeaver, serving as the Business Process Management solution to model SAP processes using SAP Solution Manager and directly connecting to SAP XI. With the recent adoption of ARIS by Oracle and Microsoft, ARIS has become the de facto standard for business process modeling with integration points to major execution engines, allowing companies to better leverage SAP’s Enterprise SOA offerings for true end-to-end enterprise management.
- SAP Upgrades & Migrations with the ARIS Platform: The ARIS Platform has been recognized by industry analysts, such as Gartner* and Forrester**, as the market leading business process modeling and analysis tool. By applying ARIS tools and methods, SAP customers can simplify and accelerate the upgrade and migration process by developing “as-is” and “to-be” models that clearly map SAP and non-SAP supported processes. ARIS also puts these processes in the context of an Enterprise Architecture.
In addition, IDS Scheer customers John Laing Homes, Community Coffee and Grace Kennedy will be speaking about their successful BPM and ERP implementations, based on IDS Scheer’s ARIS SmartPath solutions.
