Neoris Expands Buenos Aires Operation to Serve as an SAP Nearshore Excellence Center
by Mariano Zadeh
Neoris, a global business and IT consulting company, today announced it has diversified and expanded its Buenos Aires operation to create an SAP Nearshore Excellence Center (SNEC) serving clients throughout the US, Europe and Latin America. The Argentina operation, which opened in March 2007 with a focus on mainframe services, now offers the full suite of SAP solutions through a global delivery services model.
"Latin America's emergence as a nearshore outsourcing power is fueling investment in the region, and Neoris is committed to maintaining its leadership in that area," said Claudio Muruzabal, CEO of Neoris. "Companies are increasingly realizing the benefits of nearshore outsourcing such as geographic proximity, cultural affinity, intellectual property protection, and most importantly, the ability to focus on their core activities. The new SAP services in our Buenos Aires facility add yet another capability to our IT services portfolio."
The Buenos Aires center will focus on delivering nearshore outsourcing services, based on the full suite of SAP solutions, and be a key component in Neoris' application support infrastructure that reaches clients in 25 countries. Neoris is an SAP Preferred Partner with proven experience in dozens of SAP projects throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America.
Neoris operates nearshore centers in Argentina, Hungary and Mexico, and has created a leadership position in nearshore delivery by serving clients in a wide range of industries, including retail, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, natural resources, logistics and transportation, among others. The centers are networked together so that the six facilities operate as a single unit.
Industry analysts have recently recognized Neoris for its achievement as the largest regionally-born IT consulting company in Latin America. In its recent study "Latin America Semiannual IT Services Tracker" (Doc #LA17065) IDC ranked Neoris as the second-largest IT consulting firm in Latin America, and the largest in Mexico. Brown-Wilson singled out Neoris in its Black Book of Outsourcing 2007 as the best-ranked nearshore outsourcing player from Latin America.
