New SAP interface set to be released.

SAP AG has announced details of its latest version of the All-in-One solution. The software package, which is due for worldwide release throughout 2007, is aimed at the mid-market and is based on mySAP 2005.

One of the most anticipated features of the new software packages is the much-welcomed new design interface which has been developed to offer end users a more PC like feel and easier navigation. The new platform, which is built on mySAP ERP 2005 and Netweaver, will also incorporate improved analytical scenarios, integrated CRM functionality and streamlined business scenarios and is set to become the showcase for SAPs SOA approach.

SAP is obviously anxious not to scare off existing clients whilst at the same time trying to get them to upgrade onto the new system. With this in mind the company has introduced a number of programs and tools that aim to help those wishing to make the transition from their existing platforms to the new version. It will also help those who wish to build new functionality for vertical market segments.
