SAP's Business Partner Awards Recognize Top-performing Partners in North America
SoftBrands, Inc. won SAP Americas' "SAP Business One Evangelist Award" at SAP's 2007 Field Kick-Off Meeting in Las Vegas. SoftBrands, a global supplier of enterprise application software, is a global ISV partner of SAP.
SAP's Business Partner Awards are given to the top-performing SAP partners in North America. The SAP Business One Evangelist Award recognizes SoftBrands as the partner working most effectively to evangelize and promote SAP Business One and to ensure the continued success of SAP Business One. SoftBrands Fourth Shift Edition for SAP Business One is an ERP system designed specifically for small and midsize manufacturers. SoftBrands has built a worldwide network of channel partners to sell and implement the system.
"SoftBrands stands out as a company that is devoted to bettering the SAP Business One community and promoting the SAP Business One story worldwide," said Ralf Mehnert-Meland, director of business development for SAP Business One. "They are one of our leading partners in showing the world that customers running SAP are truly best run."
Fourth Shift Edition for SAP Business One combines strong manufacturing functionality with the strength and security of SAP, a worldwide leader in business software solutions. Fourth Shift Edition provides small and midsize companies with an affordable, easy to use solution developed to meet the needs of independent manufacturers and subsidiaries of large organizations that want to standardize on SAP solutions. The system is designed for manufacturers in eight specific vertical markets: food and beverage, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, rubber and plastics, medical devices, semiconductors, industrial machinery, and electronics.
"We're honored that SAP has recognized the work we've done to build a successful organization around SAP Business One," said Ralf Suerken, senior vice president and general manager of manufacturing at SoftBrands. "And we're positioned for even greater success in 2007. We're always working to grow our partner network, to continue to serve manufacturers in the United States and abroad -- in countries like Germany and China -- and to find new ways to give mid-market manufacturers tools that used to be reserved for only the largest companies."
