Job description On behalf of our client, we are urgently looking for a Application Support Specialist based in lovely Zürich, Switzerland.You will be responsible for the post-implementation support cycle and serve as a technical lead for end-users. You will also be assisting with implementation solutions and managing the day to day application environment.For this position we are looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience as an Application Support supporting Client Server business applications in an SAP Business One and Microsoft environment. Experience supporting any of the following applications would be considered an asset: SAP Business One, SQL Server 2005 or 2008, .NET Custom Applications, Primavera P6, * Excellent consultative, verbal/written communication skills, analytical ability* Problem solving, initiative, judgment. Ability to effectively resolve technical issues and define ramifications of choices.* Ability to execute and support tasks with a high degree of quality and efficiency.* Experience with Supply Chain/Logistics/Finance and Engineering business processes Responsibilities* Serve as a liaison between end users and business applications implementation team.* Responsible for continuous improvement in the business application environment.* Assist to create applications support documentation.* Provide training and continued education to end users in new implemented applications and processes.* Evaluate support needs from end users and develop effective support materials and monitors.* Solve technical issues, evaluate alternative solutions and provide recommendations to Global MIS Team.Skills and Experience* Other Computer skills should include: Windows 9x, MS DOS, MS Office, SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, Visual Basic, HTML/PHP, MySQL, T-SQL, Internet & email applications* Fluent read, write, speak in EnglishAre you interested or would like to know more?
