Job description Senior SD/MM Solution Architect. This is an opportunity to join a growing company where the right candidate will add real value in helping to drive the business forward within a customer facing role.

The role of Senior SD/MM Solution Architect would principally involve leading the delivery business focused solution design with specific emphasis on SAP IS Retail. The senior consultant would bring to bear their considerable experience of working with the Business stakeholders to understand the requirements whilst following SAP standard functionality. The role will match the business requirements to the SAP functionality to deliver quantifiable business benefits. As a Senior SD/MM Solution Architect the role will involve working with in framework of multiple parallel projects ensuring the integration within the project methodology and release strategy. The technical and leadership of a team of consultants delivering the project dependant on the size of any specific project is also a priority. The role would require deep experience of Solution design across processes Planning, Purchasing and Sales.

Additionally, the senior consultant would play a pivotal role in the development of the Supply Chain capability, through diverse activities including coaching others, delivering internal training, recruiting, being involved in pre-sales, developing marketing propositions and refining our best practice.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Solution Architect and lead delivery consultant on complex Supply Chain projects.
• Ensure adequate training and knowledge sharing takes place within the Supply Chain area
• Maintain ‘high chargeability’ including long term projects but also short term assignments
• Providing Cost benefit options in Solution design
• Assessment, Training and Development of RDS solutions to business challenges
• Contribute to Pre-Sales activities
• Develop POC solutions for Clients (existing and future)
• Run best practice and technical seminars
• Present at industry conferences


Essential Skills/Experiences


Expert in SD/MM processes and configuration
Leading Process Design
Direct working with the Client Stakeholders (Departmental Managers)
Designing Solutions within tailored to SAP
Understand Business benefits and design solutions within clients’ development road map
Solution design across business process
Project cost control (small pieces of work where no Project Manager exists)
Pre- sales bid preparation
Creation of POC


Candidates with the following skills would be at a distinct advantage

Wide SAP cross modular capability understanding
Additional configuration skills in other SAP module/s
