Job description My client based in Milan Italy, is looking for a Cisco Network Engineer to start in September.

You will work in the Operational Team in Italy to have an active role in network changes implementation (during the day and sometimes during the night).

The site for the activity is in Milan and the period is between September 2010 and March 2011 (included). This will be normal working hours with night shifts for implementation during the week when required.

The Skill set required is for Service Provider MPLS environment with focus on the following:

MUST HAVE:
· L3 MPLS Core in SP
· Basic Traffic Engineering
· Cisco CRS and GSR platforms
· Cisco IOS and IOS-XR
· Migration and hands-on experience for implementation activity within MPLS network (Cisco Devices)
· BGP and OSPF routing basic configuration and troubleshooting

NICE TO HAVE:
· MRTG and other monitoring tool exposure
· Cisco catalyst 6500 platforms
· Cisco 7200 series
· CCNP or CCDP certification
· Layer 2 (VLAN, Spanning tree) experience
· QoS configuration and troubleshooting in IOS and IOS-XR

English and Italian speaking
