Job description Application Management Services (AMS) handles the long term end-to-end management of our clients’ application portfolios, from the upfront design and build through ongoing management and evolution. Our continuum of services encompasses the complete application lifecycle, and hence provides a myriad of opportunities for technology consultants of all flavours. AMS is a key growth play for as we align our resources to the way clients invest.

Employees in this role are responsible for the ongoing identification, development, and assessment of cross-line of business opportunities with key accounts, selected based on proactive market screening, targeting, and business analysis. They develop extensive executive and senior management relationships in client organizations. They identify and develop the most attractive opportunities (especially sole-source deals) for potential engagement.
They work collaboratively with other teams across and with other partners and outside consultants as appropriate. They are responsible for the ongoing qualification of these opportunities and recommend whether to engage, disqualify, or refer opportunities to other groups. They own the opportunity until formal sales engagement and facilitate the transition to an engagement team, and remain involved during the engagement phase, as appropriate. They typically report to a Business Development Manager. Primary Measurement: Contract Signings performance; Business development metric such as, pipeline of well-qualified business.

The Successful Candidate will be required to drive application management services (AMS) sales in new and existing core and invest accounts. Lead opportunity development with other team members and clients to convert the opportunity into a delivery engagement. Bring passion, credibility and a point of view to our clients (internal or external) helping them solve their business challenges through solutioning effective application management.

In addition, understanding of AMS propositions, sales experience (not necessarily AMS), understanding of GBS go to market model.

The candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a will to win.

People Skills Required: ability to build a network, very good presenting and communication skills, ability to dynamically change from team member to team leader.

Desirable Skills: Ability to work across more than one sector, experience of AMS sales, delivery of AMS solutions.
